A certain well-known beer company doesn't do bars but if they did, they'd probably be like the ones in Arinsal. Tax-free prices, free toasted sandwiches and some of the best DJs and live acts on the planet during the festival. Here's where to hang your hat...
Voted best bar in Arinsal in 2008/9, El Cau will be one of the main party bases during The Big Snow Festival. There’s free toasties, live sports and footage from the slopes during après ski but its late night shenanigans that ‘the cow’ is most famous for. Expect big name DJs, beautiful people and the some of the best nights of your life.
Find it: two minutes up the street from the Gondola opposite Quo Vadis.

The other main venue during The Big Snow Festival, Surf has built a reputation for quality music and late night debauchery that we can't wait to uphold. DJs from the UK and Ibiza play most weekends but during the festival, they'll be making you shake it like a Polaroid picture on a nightly basis. Surf will, very definitely, be up.
Find it: Next to the bottom of the gondola.
Mexican cave bar built into the rock in the old part of town, Ciscos has free nachos during après ski and a funky underground feel at all times. Some of the coolest Big Snow Festival acts will appear here during the week.
Find it: opposite the gondola.
The most chilled-out of the festival venues, The Black Bull does a fine line in comfy sofas, funky terraces and ambient music. They also do legendary English breakfasts for those who make it that far.
Find it: in the centre of the resort near the main telecabin car park.
Good old fashioned Irish hospitality including football and rugby screenings, open mic and karaoke sessions and footage they’ve shot on the slopes during the day on the big screen. Live acts will be shaking the place to its foundations during the festival.
Find it: two minutes walk downhill from the Gondola, opposite St Moritz hotel.

Famous for its knock-your-head off cocktails, El Moli could be the most banging venue during the festival. Expect DJs, mojitos and a couple of paracetamol in the morning.

Don't be fooled by the fancy Latin name: Carpe Diem is a traditional English-style boozer complete with board games and a Big Snow Festival pub quiz. Wanna show off how brainy you are? Then seize the day here!
Find it: two minutes up the hill from the gondola.
Jointly fingered as the resort's best bar of 2008/9, Quo Vadis is open all day but is famous for its raucous après ski where you can play live Deal or No Deal and Play Your Cards Right.

Chilled-out lounge bar where you can watch footage from the slopes whilst listening to a soundtrack crafted live by DJs from the Andorra Sound Project.
Find it: At the top end of town near the Crest and Patagonia hotels, there's free minibus connection to the resort centre.
Situated under The Big Snow Festival's main hotel, Bar Solana offers a heady mix of big screen sports, pub games and party nights. If it wasn't for all the amazing DJs and live acts elsewhere during the festival, you'd never have to leave the hotel!
